QuickBooks Bookkeeping Cleanup HelpReports, without the login
Copies are enough for a first reading. The company file stays where you keep it.

Send copies insteadA stack of copies on the kitchen table is one kind of wait. A login is another. You do not have to stand in the second one for us to tell whether March is the last month the bank and the screen agreed. The copies are the short line. The password can stay with you.
A reconciliation report shows the last matched month and the open items. A profit and loss shows the totals for the dates on the report. Statement files show the outside number for the months you include. None of those three requires the password. They are exports and downloads. You keep the originals. We read copies.
What a copy cannot show is a click that has not happened yet. If a line is still sitting in For review, the export of the reconciliation will not include a match you have not accepted. That is useful. It means we see the file as it is, not as someone hopes it will look after a late night.
We will not ask you to add a user, to share a password in a form, or to press Reconcile so the report looks finished. A finished looking report that was forced is worse than an honest one that stops in March.
If a later engagement needs a closer look, that is a written scope, not a surprise on the calendar. The first call is still a reading. A shorter pass at the same question sits on the questions page.
Put the three files where you can open them on the call, or attach what you already have in the note. Name the month you think is true. If the statement files are only some of the open months, say which months. A gap in the folder is information. It is not a reason to wait until the folder is perfect.
The company file remains yours. Nothing on this page asks you to hand over the login in exchange for a reading.
Name the reports you can export without opening an edit.
