Ask your own question
Four questions, answered, and then a place to put your own.
Ask your own questionYes. Copies of the reconciliation, the filed year profit and loss, and the statement files are enough for a first reading. The login can stay with you. We are not trying to get inside the company file on the first call.
The longer answer, including what we still cannot see without a later step, is on the page about the login. Short version here. Send copies. Keep the original file where it is.
The reconciliation for the operating account. It names the last month the screen and the statement agreed. Without that month, the profit and loss is a total floating over an unknown date, and the statement files have nothing to attach to.
If you already have that report and you have one more minute, add the profit and loss for the year that was filed. The statement files can follow. The order is on the page about going first.
Not by itself. A feed that stopped is missing rows. An unmatched month has rows and no tick. The banking screen can look unhappy either way. The reconciliation report is the page that separates them.
Do not exclude lines to clear the screen before the call. An excluded line is a decision. It can be the right decision later. It is a poor one made at midnight to make a dashboard turn green.
You do, on the provider you already run. When setup is in scope, the accounts and the questions get lined up. Payday itself stays on that provider. Wage lines on a profit and loss show that the books have a payroll story. They do not hire this practice to process a payroll.
Wages and the three reports can sit on the same screen and still be different jobs. The wage payment itself keeps running at the payroll company this owner already uses, and this reading does not take that calendar over. The reconciliation, the filed year, and the open statements are the reading on this address. Seeing a wage line on the profit and loss does not turn that reading into a payroll run.
